Angus Australia

Angus Australia was established in 1919 and works in support of over 3,500 Angus members located throughout Australia.

Through our long-term commitment to genetic improvement and innovation, the Angus breed has maintained its leadership status for many years, and in turn, this has led to the Angus brand receiving a price premium in both the live cattle and beef marketplace.

The Angus Australia members contribute to the progress of the Angus breed by participating in research programs such as the Angus Sire Benchmarking Project (ASBP). Now in its fifth year, the ASBP is the largest progeny test program ever conducted in Australia.
