Mogens is Director of Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics (QGG) at Aarhus University (AU). QGG has a very dynamic and internationally oriented environment with 20 senior staff and a large group of postdocs and PhD.-students. It is a major center for basic and applied research and education in quantitative genetics, quantitative genomics and breeding. QGG has strong collaborations with relevant industrial partners within animal and plant breeding and with several other leading international research groups in the field. His main research area is related to animal breeding and includes statistical genetics, gene mapping and genomic prediction.
